My Prestige Red have only 1 2 small leaves starting to color, I want to bring the color on a little faster. What would be the best way to do this?

The hot fall does seem to have delayed Prestige, in the Southeast at least. Now that they have initiated - the warmer the average 24-hr temperature the faster they will develop. With the cooler days and lower night temps that we finally have it is important to not let the greenhouse cool off too much. If you use a 66-68 night and 75-80 day they will develop much faster than something like 65 night and 70-75 day. You could use a little higher day temp for faster development. If you need even faster development 68-70 nights and 80-85 days will work. Of course, these temps with speed up all the crops in that house. Jim
