I used Fascination successfully last year on some short points. It was after color and it did fade the Reds somewhat.

Yes. now is best time to gain some height if it is needed. Use the low rates of Fascination and do not reapply for 10-14 days. You want to gain the height slowly so the plants do not look stretched.


Is there ever a time after the pinch that Fascination should not be used?

Not technically. But you would not normally feel a need to use it within 3-4 weeks of pinch. Then at about 2 weeks before finish it will have less effect on height. If you need to add 2-3 inches with Fascination the earlier you start the better to spread it out over more of the plant rather than stretching a few internodes with a higher rate applied at 3-4 weeks before finish.
