Doing this as a hobby, this site has helped me a lot since I don’t have access to all the resources pro growers do. My goal is to try and grow a few Poinsettia trees. I do have your book which make mention to them. When should the plants be started? I’m only able to get my cuttings in July which I’m thinking is to late. I do have some plants in the house left from this past season.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

In order to do the really big trees plants are usually started in April or May but there are smaller tree forms that can be started later. Here's a document that outlines tree production and culture including a schedule for the different sizes: Poinsettia Tree Production. Please take a look at the document and let us know if you have futher questions.
