Will your classic series show up in your online catalog soon? How often do you update the catalog?

I called the nursery I use for my rooted Ecke liners a few weeks back to order for the '2008 season and was amazed that the owner of the nursery had never even heard of the Classic series. Communication breakdown?....Michael Pawelek

The Classic series (red, white, pink and marble) are all featured in the new catalog that was mailed out this past fall. The series is new for 2008 and not yet available for stock plants, only summer cuttings. This allows us to build up the production for first year and have a better chance at meeting customer demand. You can order these for delivery in the summer. Nice series, lots of positive feedback by growers who had them in the trial collection and who have seen them at university trials!

To answer the question about catalogs; we print 1 poinsettia catalog each year. This catalog goes out in the fall, usually November, so growers have the most up to date information for ordering cuttings to be delivered in the summer. The on-line site is in the process of being updated and the catalog should be included on the website soon. Thanks for your interest in this new poinsettia series!
