The fascination label states that it can be used to expand bracts that have been stunted by PGR. It says to use it 7-14 days before anthesis what is anthesis and how can I know when it will happen in 7-14 days?
Anthesis is when you can see the first visible pollen shed from the stamens. Historically many growers have used anthesis as a benchmark for when the plants are ready for sale. Depending on when you consider your plants ready for sale, if you use a similar stage of maturity than you would apply the Fascination 1-2 weeks before the plants are ready for sale. Or you can look at it this way; for most varieties from the sign of first color until anthesis is 5-6 weeks. Of course this will vary depending on forcing conditions in the greenhouse but generally speaking you could use this amount of time to decide when to apply the Fascination.
Hope this helps......
