Help!. In a miscommunication between employees approx 20000 of our poinsettias euroglory red got incorrectly sprayed with basilex fungicide. Upon drying this has left a very unsightly residue behind has anybody got any ideas about how to remove this ?. Fortunatley this happened about a month ago so the developing bracts seem unaffected but the leaves are badly covered.

Hi Patrick -

You can use a solution of Capsil to wash the foliage and bracts. Mix 1 tsp of Capsil in 1 gallon of water - you'll have to make a much larger batch for 20,000 plants. Spray the solution on the foliage and bracts and rinse immediately. This is a very effective way to clean any spray residue off the plants. This might be difficult and time consuming on 20,000 plants but it is very effective and would be worth the time and effort.
