As the stems get taller, the leaves lose much of their bunching, but they will produce the tight bracts that make Winter Rose appealing.

The leaves on Winter Rose can lay more flat and have a similar appearance to a more traditional poinsettia leaf when temperatures are warm in the greenhouse. The month of October can still offer some pretty warm afternoons on the greenhouse and that’s probably why you leaves are not curling. As we near November and temperatures drop you can expect the leaves to curl more. The bracts will still be curled like the Winter Rose that you are used to.
