can Pro Gibb be used for stem elongation on poinsettias or do you need to use Fascination?

Hi Geoffrey -

The biggest difference between ProGibb and Fascination is that ProGibb contains 4% gibberellic acid compared to only 1.8% in the Fascination. With more gibberellic acid in the ProGibb there is a higher risk of getting excessive stem elongation so we would emphasis using caution with the ProGibb. Rates for ProGibb would be 2-5 ppm applied in September and early October. Not much work had been done with ProGibb so we don't have much more information to offer and would suggest if you decide to use it that you start with the low rate and trial the application on a small number of plants first.
