Have somebody know what kind of damage a surfactant in propagation can cause on the cuttings?

We use a capsil spray after sticking. If it gets applied too heavy, the growing tip and young foliage can get translucent in appearance. Some times it can recover, some times the leaf will drop.

With damage from Capsil or other surfactants you will see a translucent appearance on the young foliage and along the margins of the older foliage. Later you can see marginal burn and possibly even defoliation.

A word of caution with surfactants....the labeled rates are much higher than what we typically use in our own program and recommend to growers. We recommend only using 1-4 oz/100 gallons to avoid overuse.
