I have been looking at Classic Red since my last post. Has anyone grown it as single stem? It seems ideal in that it is a later variety and has larger bracts

Classic is ideal for straight up production. It has great stem strength and the large showy bract that you need for a single stem product form. In our years of working with Classic before commercial introduction we found it to be one of our best varieities for straight ups.
