If your night temperatures are 50F that is very cold if the bracts aren't mature. The rate of color progression is fastest and bract expansion is best when night temperatures are between 65-68F. If it’s possible, depending on your situation warming your night temperatures will speed the coloring up process quite significantly.
We don't recommend temperatures at night ever run as low as 50F. Poinsettias can actually suffer chilling injury if temperatures drop below 50F. The plants can be finished cold but it is important that the bracts reach a certain stage of maturity and are showing quite a bit of color before temperatures are reduced so much. The flower development process is very slow with such low temperatures.
