I have over the weekend began seeing Small latex dots scattered on my prestige single stem bracts. These plants are hanging over the isles so they are above the crop on benches. The dots are dry and can be removed but some leave small brown spots under them and some do not. reduce feed early Nov. and went to clear water on the 12th any help would be great.

Sounds like latex eruption. What are your temps?
For botrytis prevention have you sprayed a fungicide? Have you done any calcium sprays? |

Latex eruption can be a problem when there is a high moisture availability from wet media and high relative humidity. The turgor pressure of the cells becomes too high and the cells burst releasing the latex. Large swings in day and night temps can also cause latex eruption because the plant metabolism slows at night with the cold temps but works overtime during the day with the much warmer day temps. To avoid latex eruption you should evaluate temperatures, relative humidity, and the moisture level of the soil. The media should be drying well right now between irrigations. This will also help prevent problems with pythium.
