I assume you are into pretty good color now,
What rate are you feeding yours now?
are you using 20-10-20
and are you adding magnesium sulfate?

tnt, I add magnesium sulfate and molybdenum to my mixes from start to finish on the crop. At this point I am a week from sending out the first Poinsettias and since everything looks well my feed mix has been lowered to a 150ppm N rate. At this point if my S.S. levels begin to rise I occassionally use a fresh water/sulfuric acid drench to lower the S.S. rate and keep the soil pH within bounds. I still take weekly pH and SS readings on the crop so I don't go crazy in any direction and overfeed or starve the crop. If I was raising a late blooming variety I would still be using a full strenght feed mix for another week or so but at this point the crop is almost finished and it's time to tone them for shipping. Moderation in everything! Smile....Michael
