My students and I are looking for good pictures of ecke poinsettias to make flyers and order forms for our sale. We tried to clip the ones from the online catalog but they are too small and the pixel quality is too low to enlarge. Is there a site for clip art or bigger pictures to copy? We have Freedom Marble, Freedom Pink, Early Winter Rose Red, Prestige Red, and Prestige Maroon. We also have Sonora White. Glitter.

Over the years, and not being able to find good pictures for advertising, I have resorted to taking my own pictures from every crop of the different varieties I raise and store them digitally for the future. I know this idea will not help you out for this year but if you start a library of Poinsettia pictures this season they can be saved and up dated for future classes and the teachers that will come after you have retired......Michael Pawelek
I buy all my seeds from a company called "Ivy Garth" in Chesterland, Ohio. One reason I use them is because their seed catalog includes a CD with a great picture of just about every plant listed in the catalog. I download the pictures and make all my own signs for Spring sales and the colorful pictures really get customers interested in the plants. Does Ecke's supply a CD of great Poinsettia pictures for it's customers? Hint....Hint....

My computer screen must be acting up today as the pictures I looked up of Prestige and the Peterstar series are way off color/hue and not very beneficial for advertising. Maybe it's just my computer?.......Michael Pawelek
