What's best to knock down fungus gnat adults? I read somewhere that Decathlon with Conserve could be used. Why not just Decathlon?

Ferris -
Conserve is labeled for shoreflies but not fungus gnats. Decathlon is labeled for control of adult fungus gnat so Decathlon by itself should be effective. The Conserve may be used for spider mites and is also very effective at controlling thrips. Some other suggestions for fungus gnat control would be Citation, Talstar, or Duraguard but there are many other chemicals labeled. I like to hold off with conserve because it is so effective against thrips and can only be used twice in the crop cycle.
