I would like to ask if it is possibly to use cycocel or bonzi by irrigating with a proper solution and in what concentration. I grow prestige poinsettias. My pot’s size is 5in(12.5cm), 7 1/2in(19cm), 9 1/2in(23.5cm) and the volume 1, 2, 5 litters respectively.
Thank you very much.

The short answer is yes you can. In the U.S. we refer to this as an early drench. See the Early (low-dose) Drench topic for more information. Cycocel could be used like this, but do not use it as a drench in the U.S. so I do not have a good feel for what the rates would be. Maybe one of the Canadian growers with more experience with Cycocel can help. Jim

See the very interesting results(Bonzi) of Douglas Cox of the University of Massachusetts.

But take care of the very long persitance, if plants are produced on irrigation-mats or closed-circuit.
