I have not sprayed or drenched for whiteflies for some time. We've had virtually no WF. Now after the cold weather came through we have just a few.
We have very good color now, will a drench with the above mentioned still be translocated to the upper part of the plant?

I am leary of spraying with all this color, and I am also sooo weary of sprayingFrown

Ecke,
I have not used either chemical on this crop.

Only sprays of other classes sometime ago.

tnt - How much of the chemical is translocated to the new growth depends on how actively the plants are growing right now, how much you are watering, and what your temperatures are like. Many growers don't rely on systemic control at this stage because of these variables.

When do you plan to move the plants? If you don't have any whiteflies maybe you'll be able to get by with out spraying which would be the recommended method of application at this point. If you do need to spray there are a few choices that when applied correctly are completely safe to apply to mature bracts. Talstar/Avid and Tristar we be a couple we would recommend.

If I am reading your answer right I can use a Talstar/Avid tank mix.
What would be the corection oz/100gal for each?

Thanks so much for your help!

Could I throw in some Medallion in that mix?

tnt- you should be able to add the Medallion to the tank mix but as always if this is your first time tank mixing these chemicals you should test for compatibility using the jar test.
