Can IBA salts be used on poinsettias? If so what rates and type of application? I would prefer to spray after sticking if possible.

We don't use any overhead sprays in our own commercial propagation but we do know that there has been some university work done to determine if the sprays are effective and safe. We will get back to you today with some detailed information. Thanks!

Recent studies have shown that 50-100 ppm KIBA applied overhead as a spray was effective however these studies are in the very early stages. Should you decide to try the sprays testing in your own greenhouse environment will be necessary.

These studies also showed that Dip 'N Grow should not be applied overhead to poinsettias and can cause a phytotoxicity.
