Hello,
This is the second year of growing Regals on a large scale. We are experiencing some palenes and yellowing in the leaves. Right now our EC is 1.1 and pH 5.4. After reading the culture guides here on the Ecke site and other sites, I believe that our pH is the problem. Anyone experience the same?

Hi Nick -

Regals will typically tolerate the lower pH without expressing any visual symptoms as a result of the lower pH.

Your EC is in a good range but especially with a Regal crop when you are growing at the cooler temperatures, nutrient uptake is slower resulting in overall deficient levels in the tissue. What rate are you feeding at? Also, how is root health? Again, at the cooler temperatures the soil will stay wet longer which can lead to root rotting or decreased nutrient uptake.
